New coach is instilling confidence in Heels

The news that new UNC football coach Butch Davis has cancer no doubt shook everyone around the program, but Davis and his coaching staff have not allowed it to cast a dark cloud over spring practice. In fact, the players said that the positive energy this spring has been infectious, and it starts with Davis. "He is a great guy," rising senior linebacker Durell Mapp said.
