Beneath the bright lights of the CMA Awards' red carpet, former UNC linebacker-turned country music star Chase Rice spoke with 247Sports national scouting director Barton Simmons and sports media personality Clay Travis. The topics ranged from college football to the Tar Heels to country music. Rice played for North Carolina from 2005 to 2008.
