Brad Daugherty's American Kitchen & Drink to close

Daugherty's American Kitchen and Drink, 2 Gerber Road in South Asheville, will end operations in the coming days after a five-month stint, according to a press release. Brad Daugherty — a NASCAR analyst, former Cleveland Cavalier and Black Mountain native son — opened the "casual-upscale" Daugherty's American Kitchen & Drink in the former location of Frankie Bones in July.
