Jumbo Athlete Charlie Heck Commits to UNC
Posted Dec 1, 2014
North Carolina has added a jumbo athlete to its 2015 verbal commitment list in Charlie Heck. "It is true, I am so excited," confirmed Heck, a 6-foot-7, 240-pounder who played tight end and defensive end for Rockhurst (Mo.). Heck helped lead his team to the MSHSAA Class Championship on Saturday. As his senior film began to make its rounds recently, he received scholarship offers from Air Force, Indiana, and Kansas State. However, when UNC offered, he quickly accepted.
