Chacos Volunteers In Africa
Posted Mar 29, 2007
The West African nation of Ghana officially marked its 50th anniversary as an independent nation on March 6th and former University of North Carolina football player Brian Chacos was there to join in the celebration. The nationwide 50th anniversary parades and the lively community drumming and dancing events were just a few of the highlights of a recent volunteer program in Ghana for Chacos, who graduated in December and started three years at offensive tackle for the Tar Heels.
