Kinston features top player in Brandon Ingram
Posted Dec 18, 2014
The birthplace of legendary NBA players Jerry Stackhouse and Cedric Maxwell, Kinston has also spawned current L.A. Clipper and former UNC star Reggie Bullock. This year’s Kinston roster only has three seniors – nationally-recruited Brandon Ingram along with regional targets Darnell Dunn and Mykel Hart – but that trio have a combined eight state championship rings. Ingram is a silky smooth 6-foot-9 guard/forward hybrid with shooting range to 26 feet; he has narrowed his list of colleges to Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, N.C. State, UCLA and UNC.
