Kinston features top player in Brandon Ingram

The birthplace of legendary NBA players and Cedric Maxwell, Kinston has also spawned current L.A. Clipper and former UNC star . This year’s Kinston roster only has three seniors – nationally-recruited along with regional targets Darnell Dunn and Mykel Hart – but that trio have a combined eight state championship rings. Ingram is a silky smooth 6-foot-9 guard/forward hybrid with shooting range to 26 feet; he has narrowed his list of colleges to Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, N.C. State, UCLA and UNC. (High School OT)
