New UNC commit Mike Hughes and the Tar Heels

On Monday morning North Carolina picked a big commitment from in-state athlete/cornerback . The 5-foot-10, 170-pound 247Sports Composite three-star prospect runs a 4.55 40-yard dash and should be used in a variety of ways by the Tar Heels. Though Hughes played quarterback and defensive back for New Bern High School, he will be used primarily as a cornerback once he arrives in Chapel Hill. (Carolina Blue)
