UNC faces William & Mary in ACC tuneup
Posted Dec 29, 2014
‘Tis the season for ACC games — well, just about. North Carolina puts a bow on its nonconference schedule Tuesday (7 p.m., FOX Sports Carolinas) when William & Mary drops by the Smith Center. The Tribe is coached by Tony Shaver, who was a UNC guard from 1972-75, back when Dean Smith coached the Tar Heels. Shaver was a walk-on but earned a scholarship during his rookie season.
