Numbers don't add up for Tar Heels

The Irish’s only basket during the last 10 minutes was the winning shot. North Carolina made more field goals than Notre Dame (24 to 23), but the Irish hit 10 shots from 3-point range compared to North Carolina’s 4-for-16 beyond the arc. The Tar Heels also left points at the free-throw line because of their 18-for-25 accuracy. Then came the final stretch. (Burlington Times News)
