James Michael McAdoo's journey to meet expectations

James Michael McAdoo was always supposed to be the player he was for the Warriors Monday afternoon at Oracle Arena. He was expected to be scoring 11 points in a 13-minute span through a series of put-back dunks, transition slams and low-post moves. After all, that was an easy future to foresee for the five-star recruit from Norfolk Christian High School in Virginia in 2011.
