How Dean Smith changed Bob McAdoo's life

Dean Smith was there that sad day in 1979, at the funeral for Bob McAdoo’s father. Smith was there again in 1991, right around Christmas, for the funeral of McAdoo’s 33-year-old wife, Charlina, taken too soon by cancer. And today in Chapel Hill, it will come full circle. McAdoo will be there for his old coach’s funeral.
