Pitt shows no love for No. 12 Heels in 89-76 rout


Here came North Carolina on Valentine’s Day, among the best rebounding teams in the ACC, the very best in the league on the offensive end where second-chance points are generated. The Tar Heels brought that fact and their No. 12 ranking to the Petersen Events Center on Saturday. Pitt melted whatever sweet ideas UNC had, because the Panthers roasted hot shots during an 89-76 victory. (Durham Herald-Sun)
