As Joel Berry bounced the ball 30 feet from the basket with less than two minutes remaining, he heard Roy Williams’ voice in the back of his head. The real Roy Williams was standing just feet away. But the voice Berry heard was the one that’s bounced off the empty Smith Center seats during dozens of practices and in dozens of huddles in the parade of close games the Tar Heels have played this year.
