The run was just too much. After the Tar Heels fought back from a five-point halftime deficit, Notre Dame went on a scoring binge, outscoring UNC 24-3 over the next six minutes and 27 seconds. In that time, the Tar Heels turned the ball over six times –on two straight possessions, and then, after a timeout, three more in a row– and Notre Dame made 9 of 13 shots, including five straight.
