UNC defense makes strides in final spring scrimmage


North Carolina’s defense got the upper hand in the final football scrimmage of spring practice, which was held Saturday. How much of that had to do with improvements made under new defensive coordinator and how much had to do with starting quarterback being sidelined with a hip injury is up for interpretation.
