LB Tyrone Hopper commits to UNC

Tyrone Hopper informed Inside Carolina that he verbally committed to North Carolina prior to ending his camp visit on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound linebacker from Roswell (Ga.) selected UNC over scholarship offers from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. A Shelby, N.C. native, Hopper moved to Georgia when he was eight years old.
