North Carolina enjoys big week in football recruiting

The focus on restocking defensive talent as UNC moves from the 4-2-5 to a 4-3 alignment under new coordinator was evident in this recent run of commitments. Four of the five pledges to the Tar Heels came from defenders: 6-6, 221-pound defensive end from Winter Garden, Florida; 6-3, 232-pound defensive end of Suwanee, Georgia; 6-3, 206-pound outside linebacker from Roswell, Georgia, and 6-3, 198-pound outside linebacker from Jacksonville, Florida.
