The biggest challenge for new Tar Heel Defensive Coordinator Gene Chizik might just be to get his defense to care. Players voiced opinions last season that there was an indifference to the embarrassing losses and lethargy to practices. North Carolina has battled sanctions, but NCAA penalties are not the cause for a defense that was 126th in total points allowed.
