Chizik doesn't guarantee turnaround for UNC's defense

Outside of the trio of powers atop the ACC, perhaps the biggest offseason storyline in the conference is the progress of North Carolina’s defense under new coordinator Gene Chizik. The elements are all there: UNC had a terrific offense last season, but could stop no one. A coach with multiple national titles to his credit joins the staff to turn things around.
