Malik Monk Wins MVP at Nike Global Challenge

Malik Monk was named Tournament MVP Saturday after his USA South team beat USA West 120-109 to win the Nike Global Challenge. He finished with a 22-point, 13-rebound and four-assist effort in the final, while playing 39 of the game’s 40 minutes. The Bentonville, Ark. Native is entering his senior season this fall. Monk intends to cut his college list to five sometime in August. Arkansas, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Oregon and Florida State are in the mix.
