ACC Kickoff: Team-by-team storylines

Will North Carolina's defense be better? UNC was awful on defense last year, giving up 29 or more points in 10 of 13 games. That’s why coach brought in former Auburn coach as the new defensive coordinator (the rest of the defensive staff is new, too). If the defense improves, UNC could make some noise. The offense returns 10 starters. (Carolina Blue)
