Dennis Smith, Edrice Adebayo in adidas Uprising semifinals

Team Loaded North Carolina, with Fayetteville's Dennis Smith Jr. as its point guard, reached the adidas Uprising Summer Championships' 17U Gold bracket semifinals with a 78-58 win over Raleigh's Garner Road on Saturday in Las Vegas. Smith had 15 points and eight assists as Team Loaded North Carolina improved to 5-0 in the event. Power forward Edrice Adebayo, another highly regarded Class of 2016 recruit, scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
