Toronto Argonauts Sign Derrele Mitchell

The Toronto Argonauts have signed wide receiver Lloyd 'Derrele' Mitchell. Mitchell starred at receiver for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. As a freshman, he led all of his teammates with a 15.5 yards per catch average and then went on to play in 32 games for the Tar Heels. A dedicated student, Mitchell returned to school for a fifth year to complete his studies and move on to a career in pro-football.
