Memorable Superdome moments, No. 3: Michael Jordan's winning jumper vs. Georgetown
Posted Aug 2, 2015
With the Tar Heels trailing by one, Michael Jordan spotted up near the left corner and launched a 16-foot jumper that swished through the net with 15 seconds remaining to give UNC a 63-62 lead before a crowd of 61,612 at the Superdome. The outcome, however, was in doubt until the Hoyas' Fred Brown inadvertently passed the ball to James Worthy on the ensuing possession with seven seconds left.
