Lions begin roster changes by trading Dre Bly
Posted Mar 2, 2007
The Detroit Lions, who want to make significant changes in their roster this off-season, got started by trading two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Dre Bly. The deal with the Denver Broncos was agreed to in principle on Thursday, but couldn't be officially executed until today, the opening of the official trade period. In exchange for Bly, the Lions will get running back Tatum Bell, right tackle George Foster and a fifth-round draft pick.
