Experience and leadership. That what starting UNC middle linebacker Jeff Schoettmer brings to the 2015 Tar Heel football team. The Texas native has played in every game the past three seasons, starting 24 at middle linebacker. As a sophomore the 6-foot-2, 235-pound Schoettmer registered 85 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, six quarterback hurries, and three pass breakups.
