John Calipari Says Michael Jordan Declined to Coach in Kentucky-Carolina Alumni Game

The biggest name in basketball history almost accepted an invitation to participate in the Kentucky-UNC alumni game. Michael Jordan was invited to coach the Tar Heel team but had to decline the invitation due to other obligations. “I tried to get Michael to come back and coach the team but he’s going to be out of the country or something,” UK coach John Calipari told us yesterday.
