Darian Durant dictates Saskatchewan Roughriders’ fortunes
Posted Sep 18, 2015
Until Sunday, “Doubles” — the nickname for Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant — applied to the number of games the team had won in his absence. The Roughriders were mired in a 2-16 tailspin, which included nine successive losses to begin the 2015 CFL season, before defeating the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers 37-19 in the latest Labour Day Classic....Simply put, the Roughriders have been without their marquee player for all but two quarters over the past calendar year.
