UNC Lands Four-Star 2017 OL Jonah Melton

Prior to North Carolina’s home-opener, four-star offensive lineman Jonah Melton gave the Tar Heels their first verbal commitment of the 2017 class. Melton, a 6-foot-3, 293-pounder from Mebane (N.C.) Eastern Alamance, selected UNC over fellow favorites NC State and South Carolina. He also received scholarship offers from Clemson, Duke, Miami, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
