For UVA receiver Thorpe, Saturday is homecoming at UNC

North Carolina’s homecoming is still three weeks away, but for at least one Tar Heel alumnus, the memory-filled return to Chapel Hill will come on Saturday. There will even be a reunion of sorts on the field at Kenan Stadium. But while T.J. Thorpe and the former UNC football teammates he once called his brothers will enjoy seeing one another again, the get-together will be anything but a celebration.
