Quincy Monk passes away


Former UNC and New York Giants linebacker passed away Tuesday, the school confirmed on their official Twitter account. He was 36. Monk, a Jacksonville, N.C. native, had a brief battle with adenocarcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer. Monk was recently honored by the Tar Heels as a "Kenan Legend" and joined the UNC football captains on the field on Oct. 17 for their game against Wake Forest. (WRAL Sports Fan)
