East Lincoln QB Chazz Surratt receives medical clearance to play Friday

East Lincoln High football coach Mike Byus said quarterback Chazz Surratt has been medically cleared to play in Friday’s N.C. 2AA quarterfinal against East Burke. At practice Thursday morning, Byus said Surratt’s family brought proper documentation, which will allow the school to pad Surratt’s elbow brace. (Charlotte Observer)
