Giants WR Hakeem Nicks sending water bottles to Flint
Posted Feb 4, 2016
New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is sending 17,000 bottles of water to a church in Flint, Mich. The water bottles will be distributed to locals in the area affected by contaminated water in the public system. Corrosive water from the Flint River has leached lead from the city’s aging pipeline, leading to a dangerous level of the toxic element in the water.
