Tar Heels are looking for closing speed
Posted Feb 23, 2016
UNC is averaging 15 seconds per possession. That’s the 10th-fastest pace in the country and the fastest in the ACC. UNC averages almost three more possessions per game than it did in 2014-15. That’s a significant increase, and Kennedy Meeks, at 260 pounds, has struggled at times to stay involved in the offense. Isaiah Hicks, at 235, can better keep up.
