Heels outmuscle Yellow Jackets
Posted Jan 21, 2007
A year after UNC forward Tyler Hansbrough set an ACC freshman record with 40 points against the Yellow Jackets, Carolina reached another milestone with its 77-61 victory at the Smith Center on Saturday: 1,900 victories. Thanks to 16 points from senior Reyshawn Terry and 24 from Hansbrough, the fourth-ranked Tar Heels (17-2, 4-1 ACC) joined Kentucky as the only two schools to hit the 1,900 mark.
