Carolina is now 7-4 all-time against Syracuse, including 3-1 since the Orange joined the ACC. Senior forward Brice Johnson recorded his ACC-leading 18th double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Senior guard Marcus Paige matched his season high with eight assists.
