Great Indiana could have won this game. Maybe. We’ll never know, but we can assume — OK, we can guess — that the IU team that won its last five games of the regular season, three of them against ranked opponents, most of them blowouts, might have made a mess of North Carolina on Friday night in the Sweet 16.
