Brice Johnson gave fellow senior Marcus Paige the same treatment as the East regional championship trophy. He hoisted both into the air. Joel James had a tougher job. He picked up the 6-foot-10 Johnson, the regional MVP. Returning to the Final Four, a huge weight was lifted for North Carolina and its painstakingly patient veterans.
