Lucas: Seeing Is Believing
Posted Dec 23, 2006
This was nothing to smile about. This was ugly basketball. This was Carolina scoring just 27 points in the first half at Saint Louis. They shot 29.4%. Here is a snapshot of the first two minutes: Ty Lawson pulls up for an ill-advised 17-footer. Wayne Ellington throws a bad entry pass that is intercepted. Reyshawn Terry picks up two quick fouls and is yanked. Saint Louis builds a quick 5-0 lead. That's how the entire first half went offensively. No rhythm, no flow.
