Five star center Jeremiah Tilmon commits to Illinois

Jeremiah Tilmon, Scout’s No. 19 overall prospect, verbally committed to John Groce, Illinois on Monday, he informed Scout. “I’m going to Illinois because they’ve been recruiting me since 8th grade, and I take pride in loyalty,” Tilmon said. Tilmon, a 6-foot-10, 235-pound standout at La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere, selected Illinois over Kansas, Michigan State, North Carolina and Texas.
