No. 5, Michael Porter, commits to Washington

The No. 5 player in the 2017 class is headed to Washington. Michael Porter verbally committed to his Godfather, Lorenzo Romar, on Friday. Porter had his pick of schools but opted for the family atmosphere at Washington. Porter's father -- Michael Porter Sr. -- was recently hired as an assistant coach at Washington. His brother -- Jontay -- is a four-star recruit in 2018 and is already committed to UW.
