Mohamed Bamba reached out to Michigan, now holds scholarship offer

Mohamed Bamba, all 6 feet and 11 inches of him, was tucked in at a table for Sunday brunch at John Beilein's house last weekend when the moment came. Beilein, the Michigan basketball coach entering his 10th season at the helm, extended a scholarship offer to Bamba, a top-five national recruit and, by far, the most intriguing player in the 2017 class.
