New coach no problem for former Havelock QB Bruce Carter
Posted Nov 28, 2006
Bruce Carter will be playing for a different coach than he would’ve in 2006. With Tar Heels’ coach John Bunting being fired, Carter will now see former Miami Hurricanes and Cleveland Browns head coach Butch Davis at the helm. Davis and Carter will meet for the first time this Friday, Carter said. Even with the coaching switch, Carter said he was never worried about his status with the team.
