Jeff Schoettmer Released from Saints' Injured Reserve

Jeff Schoettmer was released from the New Orleans Saints' injured reserve list Monday, Joel A. Erickson of the New Orleans Advocate reports. Schoettmer was among the players in the first round of the Saints' final cuts leading up to the start of the regular season and was subsequently stashed on injured reserve. His release allows him to sign elsewhere. (CBS Sports)
