John Bunting ended his North Carolina coaching career yesterday the same way that he finished his playing career at the school in 1971, by beating Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium. He made a brief farewell address after a 45-44 victory and walked away, headed for the next step in his football career that will be determined after consulting with his wife, Dawn.
