Former Tar Heel, Justice-Era Kicker Bob Cox Passes Away

Bob Cox, 90, a kicker on the famed Charlie Justice Carolina teams of the late 1940s, died peacefully on Monday following a stroke. After serving in the Marines during WWII, Bob attended UNC where he was a member of the storied Tar Heel football team that included Charlie “Choo Choo” Justice as a teammate. He also was a member of UNC’s golf team.
