Five things we learned in the Early Signing Period

The early period has ended, but two — and possibly three — five-star players could make their decisions before the month is out. They won’t be able to sign until the spring. Quade Green, No. 22 overall by ESPN, is scheduled to announce Nov. 19 at a midnight madness event at his school. Wendell Carter, the No. 3 player in the class, is expected to announce Nov. 23.
