UNC runs away from Monmouth basketball

Monmouth (10-3) had no answer for burly Tar Heels senior forward Kennedy Meeks inside as he finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds. With Meeks and Isaiah Hicks (15 points, nine boards) carrying the load, UNC finished with 42 points in the paint. Junior wing Justin Jackson had a team-high 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting and 6-of-9 from deep.
