Familiar Story: Tar Heels bitten by turnover bug again
Posted Oct 29, 2006
North Carolina made three critical mistakes yesterday, two on costly turnovers, that led to a loss to Wake Forest at Kenan Stadium and the continuation of its losing streak. All three mistakes came in the second half and helped Wake Forest to a 24-17 win. The last turnover, an interception of quarterback Joe Dailey, took place in the Wake Forest end zone with about 15 seconds left and thwarted a last-ditch rally.
