Roy Williams second-fastest to 800 wins after North Carolina defeats Syracuse
Posted Jan 16, 2017
If Monday's game is any indication of how good UNC will be in ACC play and beyond, Roy Williams could (and likely will) surpass Eddie Sutton on the all-time wins list, who finished his career at Oklahoma State with 806. He is 76 away from surpassing Adolph Rupp (876) and 79 away from passing legendary North Carolina coach Dean Smith (879).
